- NO ADVANCE PAYMENTS;
- LOWEST RATES ON THE MARKET;
terms and conditions
The following Terms and Conditions apply:
1. general conditions
The car is rented according to the Rental Agreement (R.A.) Terms and Conditions. Those are printed on the reverse side of your R.A. Renters are asked to read carefully and confirm acceptance by signing the R.A.. Renters must meet all Cars4Rent Group qualifications, standards and requirements including, age, payment form, driving license and a valid passport. At the time of check out (when receiving the car), the renter must have with him a copy of the passport and driving license.
2. renter's age
Minimum age is 21 year. Driver must be in possession of a valid driving license at least 1 year old. Any additional driver must meet minimum age required.
3. young driver
A young driver extra fee will be applied for each young driver and additional young driver under age of 21 / 25. Cost: EURO 5.00/day.
4. reservations
Reservations will only be confirmed for car groups. If Cars4Rent Group doesn't have a group of cars available, they will give to clients a car from a superior group but with the initial rate, so the cost for clients will be the same. This means that in any case you will receive the car that you asked or a better one for the same cost.
5. car availability
Cars are available all over Bucharest and other cities upon request. When making the reservation, please be sure that you complete the exact location where you need us to bring the car (e.g. Otopeni Airport, your hotel, your address…). Taking or returning the car in other city then Bucharest will cost you a fee that will be illustrated in the final step of you reservation process.
6. terms of payment
Cars4Rrent Group accepts MasterCard/Eurocard and Visa. Cash payments can be made in Euro, US Dollars and Romanian currency.
7. rental rates
Oil, maintenance and third party liability are included. Fuel is not included.
The client must bring back the car with the same level of fuel; otherwise the client must pay for the missing gasoline with the same rate as the gas stations have.
Minimum rental is two days (48 hours). First three hours over the 24 hours will be charged with 10 euro/ day. Over three hours delay a full day will be charged according to standard rate. For monthly or long term arrangements information on request.
For any extra driver, a 5 euro/day tax will be added on top of the rental rates.
8. special equipment
Baby seat and snow chains may be hired free of charge.
9. penalties
For any damage or accidents made to the car the client will be responsabil as following:
- if you've chosen the Standard Insurance (SI), your responsibility will be reduced to the deposit (200 euro)
- if you've chosen the Full Coverage Insurance (FCI), your responsibility will be zero.
The only case when you will have to pay is when you make damage to the car from your negligence (e.g. leaving the car open, burning the chairs with the cigar)
In case of loss or demage of car documents and/or car key a penalty fee of Euro 100.00 will apply per item.
10. gas
The client must bring back the car with the same level of fuel; otherwise the client must pay for the missing gasoline with the same rate as the gas stations have.
11. delivery/collection
Free of charge in Otopeni and Baneasa Airport.Also free of charge in our office Hotel Charter Otopeni.
For delivery and returning in other location in Bucharest we charge 5 euro.
Bringing or returning the car to another city then Bucharest will cost you an extra charge, 0.2 euro/km. distance from Bucharest and the pick-up/return city.

13. insurance
CDW and TP are valid only in Romania Please note that in the unfortunate event of an accident the nearest police station must be informed and an accident report obtained. Without this report renter could be responsible for the costs of repair. Standard Insurance (SI) and Full Coverage Insurance (FCI) do not waive the renter's responsibility for damaged produced to Cars4Rent.ro Group vehicles in following situations: inside and under car body damages; willful action or gross negligence; driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs; written statement by traffic police is not present at time of check in; rented car driven by unauthorized person
14. border crossing
Cars are allowed to cross the border but only with our approval and in certain conditions. Rates for border crossing are 30% higher then usual rates, and 300 euro deposit/car must be prepared (not refundable in case of accident or theft). Ask for more info if you want to cross the border with the rented car.
15. breakdown
In case of problems with the rented car, we shall replace it with another one as soon as possible; This means that if you have a breakdown and you call us, another ca will leave Bucharest towards your location.
